Greetings Fellow Bar Association Members – I hope everyone’s Thanksgiving was wonderful and everyone is ready for the Holiday and New Year stretch. The Bar Association is in full holiday spirit with its annual Holiday Party on December 3rd at Ardor. I look forward to seeing everyone that is attending this year. The Young Lawyer’s Committee is also busy with its Project Santa to support the South Side Mission. This year, the Bar Association members are supporting a record 157 gifts to local children. Thank you to all members that are supporting this special program and a special thank you to YLC Chair, Taylor Cascia, and Project Santa Chairs, Ashley Broadstone and Kayla Hickey.
With the new year almost here, I encourage everyone to think about how you can get more involved in the Bar Association in 2026. We have many committees that you can join, from substantive law committees to event-planning committees and everything in between. If you have questions about what committee might be right for your interests, please feel free to contact me—I would love to help.
Finally, the monthly Coffee with the Bar is on Friday, December 19th at 8:00 a.m. at Ardor. We moved it from the second to the third Friday this month to accommodate our members that are attending the ISBA Midyear Meeting. We had a huge turnout at the November social and I am looking forward to seeing everyone on December 19th!
